Shower (134)Greensboro, NC -- Change your shower head and you could be saving water and money!
New heads use a 1/3 less water. You'll need a pair of pliers and a hand towel. The shower head kit usually comes with plumbers tape...but make sure!
First, remove the old shower head. Wrap the towel around the shower head and use the pliers to loosen it (that way you don't scratch anything).
Use plumbers tape around the shower stem to protect from future leaks. Most shower heads have the gasket inside, but make sure.
Screw on the new head by hand. Then use the towel and pliers again to tighten.
Don't you wish saving money was always that easy?
