U.S. scientists found that: shower could damage people’s health, it is because the shower head can easily become a breeding ground for germs. Bacteria enter the body with the splash of the water and easily lead to lung disease, and those patients with abnormal body’s immune system are particularly caught.
Researchers found that shower heads contain a number of Mycobacterium avium. Mycobacterium avium like warm, dark, damp environment, while the shower head provides this environment. Living in the environment with bacteria will lead healthy people long-lasting lung infection, while for the elderly with TB and those with immune system diseases, it might lead to more severe lung damage.
Scientists suggested that the average family can often clean it or replace the metal spray nozzle to avoid this risk.
